The chemical that spilled and tainted the water supply in and around Charleston, West Virginia is little understood and was stored in tanks with virtually no regulation. The inspectors also discovered something else: Freedom Industries had not taken action to stop the leak or report it to authorities, according to the state Department of Environmental Protection. As it turned out, there are virtually no regulations governing inspection and maintenance of the storage tanks. This is the predictable result of deregulation and pro-business policies in a state run by the coal companies. Greedy capitalism has come to West Virginia and is killing White people there.
